Au pair program in Lithuania has been implemented for 9 years already and five towns of Lithuania have offices for this program so popular among students. It is implemented by Lithuanian Student and Youth Travel Agency, which is a member of the International Au Pair Association (www.iapa.org). 18 to 29 year old people may participate in this program and it is implemented in 11 countries. In order to go and work as au pair in some foreign country no extra permission is needed.  The program gives opportunities to learn the native language of that country. Au pair offices issue international students’ and teachers’ certificates. Foreign language courses are arranged in Europe and Australia.
