The workshop aimed to facilitate the interaction of GIFAAHT with other strategic potential partners but not limited to faith-based
organisations and institutions, to enhance networking for awareness raising while avoiding duplication of efforts, and to
offer victim support in collaboration with others in this specialized field of activity. The seventy participants were drawn
from members of the Great Faiths represented in
Kenya
, including Muslims, Hindus, and Sikhs as well as a number of Christian denominations. COATNET was represented at the event
by Sr. Maura O’Donohue. Several organisations involved in human trafficking and related issues also attended. The event was
funded by Trocaire.
