Short evaluation
|
The project has formed a network which has enabled the education of a large number of people in
Albania
. Although the direct impact is difficult to assess, it is known that a number of trafficked women being taken abroad from
Albania
is decreasing, but the numbers of women trafficked internally is increasing. The practice is replicable: it was carried out
in
Albania
again for other Christian denominations and can be replicated in other countries too. In terms of its relevance, the project is directly implemented in the places where people are most vulnerable to trafficking,
in the poorest and most excluded groups in society. The practice facilitates the social inclusion of trafficked persons and persons at risk of being trafficked. Responsiveness: the practices contribute towards the goals set out in national action plan and aims to improve the policies
to combat human trafficking. Empowering strategies:
Caritas
Albania
in all its work is committed and is involved in the work of empowerment and facilitation for all those who are most vulnerable
to trafficking of the human person. Poverty alleviation is a prime focus for Caritas
Albania
.
